MHS Thought Leaders

MHS hires industry leaders to best serve our students so they can break the cycle of poverty. Our employees are thought leaders in education, whole child care, college and career readiness, diversity and inclusion, safety, and more.

The Hershey Entities

Extended members of the Hershey “family,” MHS is supported in many ways by the entities. The Hershey Company, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, The Hershey Trust, and Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center all engage meaningfully with Milton Hershey School and its students.

Inspired by Milton Hershey School

In 2020, MHS expanded its impact through the creation of Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning. CHS is a subsidiary of MHS. It provides a cost-free educational, social, and cognitive day program to children of lower income from birth to age 5. Its Early Childhood Resource Centers are located in Pennsylvania.

CHS was inspired by MHS and is operated independently of the MHS core model.

Milton Hershey School does not discriminate in admissions or other programs and services on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, sex, religious creed or disability. Read important MHS policies on equal opportunity and diversity, equal employment opportunity, and more.
