Milton Hershey School Senior Reflects on the Class of 2025
By Tayla Williams-Howard, MHS Senior
The Milton Hershey School Class of 2025 is known as the Star Class. That title is no coincidence. Stars are more than just bright lights in the night sky; they are forces of nature, burning with intensity, fueled by something greater than themselves.
Stars guide travelers’ homes, inspire dreamers, and stand the test of time. The star we know best—the Sun—does more than shine; it provides life, warmth, and energy, fostering growth and greatness here on Earth. Similarly, we, the Star Class, have the power to uplift, inspire, and leave a lasting impact wherever we go.
Every single one of us—each member of this class—is a star. Some of us shine through academic excellence, others through leadership, creativity, or sheer perseverance. Some of us are the quiet stars, steady and dependable. Others burn with a fiery passion, making their presence known. But together, we form a constellation—a brilliant and unstoppable force that will leave its mark on the world.
The Alumni-Senior brunch marks “the beginning of the end.” It is a moment to pause and reflect as we live out our final weeks as MHS students. Soon, we will stand in the GIANT Center, side by side, taking our final steps as students and our first steps as alumni. Our journey doesn’t end here—it evolves.
Our esteemed alumni are among the finest in the world. They are educators, healers, leaders, and protectors. They form the foundation on which this school stands—embodying our School’s four Sacred Values: commitment to mission, integrity, positive spirit, and mutual respect.
They remind us that education at MHS isn’t solely about academics; it encompasses character, perseverance, and community.
I look forward to the day when the Class of 2025, the Star Class, takes our place among the greatest alumni this school has ever seen.
