Milton Hershey School (MHS) is currently seeking a Procurement Analyst in a temporary role to assist the Sr. Director of Procurement for a period of six months to one-year engagement. 

The Procurement Analyst (PA) is responsible for assisting with the procurement process, while providing customer service to our internal business partners. This role will facilitate the timely and efficient Oracle HCM PeopleSoft system review, approvals and processing of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier onboarding. The PA will support the facilitation of RFP’s, prepare cost-benefit and spend analysis and ensure compliance to the Procurement policy.  This role will also oversee and maintain Procurement specific programs (RFP’s, SRM, Spend Analysis, P-Card reconciliation, etc.) Furthermore, the PA will effectively and professionally communicate internally and externally, representing the MHS and its Procurement department and Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning appropriately. 

This is an onsite role with a work schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Competitive salary based on experience.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or relevant business experience
  • Procurement experience, purchasing programs, processes, and system knowledge
  • Oracle PeopleSoft system experience, preferred
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of stakeholders and suppliers 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to make decisions 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
  • Analytical skills – cost analysis and data analytics  
  • High degree of integrity required.
