Welcome to MHS

MHS is one of the world’s best private schools, where qualifying students in pre-K through 12th grade live on campus and receive an exceptional educational experience—with all costs covered.  Chocolatier Milton S. Hershey left his fortune to children who deserved a chance at a brighter future.

Over 100 years later, Mr. Hershey couldn’t imagine what “all costs” would come to include, but his foresight has ensured that MHS continues to offer life-changing opportunities.

All costs include:

  • Tuition and housing (with 24/7 security)
  • Healthy meals and snacks
  • School and casual clothing
  • School supplies and computers
  • Medical and dental care, including glasses and medications
  • Counseling services
  • Tutoring and personal academic assistance
  • All field trips, activities, and equipment (sports and instruments)

Hiring the Best Staff

To accomplish the mission laid out by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS staff serve as more than thought leaders. They also are mentors and positive role models. MHS staff are passionate about making a difference in students’ lives and committed—each day—to every child’s success.
